Hello fellow residents of Firestone. Below is my candidacy speech for the Senate Election.
Experience in the State:
House Representative - One Term

Firestone Department of Corrections - Correctional Officer

Plans in Office
I do have a few different plans for what I will do/change whilst in the Senate, a few of which are based around the recent democracy report from the Former Governor.
My first plan would be to change how Unlawful Assemblies work. Currently any police officer can declare an Unlawful Assembly, based on various different reasons, this limits protest, and therefore people may not get their voices heard.
Additionally, I want to limit how congressional bars are handled, as we saw in the prior election, there were people who were barred whilst the election took place, I want to make it so that bars cannot take place during an election cycle, as this then allows people to run for the office without any constraint, and also means that congress can not restrict any election and possibly “cheat” the election by barring opponents in the election.
As well as this, I want to work with congress to establish a full recall system, as suggested by citizens in the recent petition.
