Lets fix Firestone, for good. We can only do it together

Is there a way for people to donate Robux’s? What do we do if we are Roblox dirt poor. :frowning:

should also note that this is alt repellent for most exploiter accounts (unless they’re somehow always loaded)

Fed had thought of keeping it paid access, but he still wants it to end up being free. I personally want it to be paid access and probably will try to convince fed but it’s unlikely he’d budge. We’ll see.

Honestly, Firestone just needs a dev who can create a good anti exploiting system. Look at mayflower, you can’t speed run, fly, fling people, etc. I feel like Firestone should remain free.

What most people are forgetting, is rammers are people who are bored and have no damn clue how to play the game. When I first started Firestone in mid 2017, I walked around for 1 hour. I finally bought a car. I crashed into a cop for attention because I saw nothing else to do. Guns didn’t even exist for citizens in v2 back then. Citizens literally sit on bus stops and the CD sidewalk 24/7 doing nothing.

V3 is supposed to fix this. Which is why we need houses to be developed to where we can actually properly use them for roleplay. V has parks, beaches, trains, beautiful scenery, and so on. v3 also has a hub, which is great. New players should be able to go to the FRP guide on the hub,and their should also be a how to on what you can do in v3 at the hub, maybe it can be a link to the forms.

Point is, if v3 actually has a decent anti-exploit system, and something to do, exploiters and rammers will cease to exist. #FreeAccess.

incorrect, mayflower constantly have exploiters that teleport and take any money, ammo, or guns you drop, have exploiters that can speed the vehicles, have exploiters whom literally teleport ontop of buildings and shoot people.

Even if V3 has a “decent anti-exploit system”, they can be bypassed. Look at front page games, Jailbreak for example. They patch the “auto rob” exploit yet they’re unpatched every week and are usable. This can be done in any game with the right people. the only way to reduce this is by having it paid access.

I have had maybe two patrols completely exploit free in Mayflower.

I for one definitely agree that Firestone should be paid access. For those hesitant on paying that price, please think of it this way. 125-150 ROBUX is what, roughly $1.50 USD? That’s nothing alone, but especially nothing considering the hours of game play you get. That’s a great bang for the buck! Also, don’t fail to remember that all of those funds go to the group to pay developers for future projects to better equip the group!

This would increase the quality of roleplayers, but we don’t know an end-game result do we?

I say we should wait for v3 Alpha which is expected in April.

If under any circumstances upstanding members of the community cannot afford this fee to play the game, I recommend the server administration to open a form or invitation to fund players to play the game. I feel like paid access, or some sort of restrictions need to be put into place in order to have serious, uninterrupted roleplay!

yea theres been so many people that have pledged tons of money for people who wouldnt be able to pay for it themselves

I already said before, that making it paid is not necessary. It could be another form of whitelist. But I agree, there should be a whitelist if we aim to keep high roleplay levels.

Thanks for solving the dilemma

How do you feel about

I like you’re argument, but keeping it free will prevent people from “getting their moneys worth” and having people continue to ram and FRP like 9-year-olds.
