§3. PLANS
Activity
Time and time again, congressmen and women have shown inactivity, no matter the chamber. This is usually demonstrated by not attending public events, taking an extensive amount of time to vote on legislation, etc. Personally, I have not fallen victim to any of the symptoms of inactivity, nor do I plan on exhibiting such in the coming months of the Senate term. I vow to you, the voters, that I will remain active throughout my service to the state as a senator. In addition, I plan on attending every single event that congressional attendance is either mandatory or requested. It is vital that, as state-level government officials, we interact with the community to show them, well, that we’re actually alive and not just sitting in a congressional chair to look cool.
Legislation
I’m not the type that legislates just to legislate, unlike many of my peers. I propose legislation as needed by the Firestone public, not whenever I want to in order to portray myself as more active. Over my terms in Congress, I’ve proposed numerous impeachments, acts, and resolutions alike. Examples of such include the Administrative Leave Act (active), a bill to simplify the Passenger Identification Act (active), and the Teaching Institutions No-Permit Act (rescinded). I prefer to listen to the voices of concerned citizens, government officials, law enforcement officers, etc., and propose pieces of legislation to ease such. Any current plans to propose legislation are subject to change based on situations that occur throughout the remainder of my term as senator (if elected).
§4. CONCLUSION
Let’s be frank: a vote for legaalsp is a vote for your voice to be heard on the state level! I’ve explained to you my plans for the remainder of the term and how I will execute them. Good luck to my competitors.
Yours truly,
legaalsp
