My name is kyhuls, and I’m running to be your Representative for the State of Firestone. I’ve been through many elections within our state. This is one of the most important elections that I will be going into. I want it to be known that I vote for the people and not for special interests. Legislation
With much of my legislation work being completed as President Pro Tempore of the Senate and Speaker Pro Tempore of the House of Representatives, I will continue to propose lawful and effective legislation that will benefit the people of Firestone.
We have a lot of outdated legislation that needs to be combined into one full bill for easy access for the citizens. If you aren’t familiar with the law, then it could be difficult for you to understand the legislation that was passed on behalf of the people.
Upon being elected into office, I will go through each piece of legislation to see what needs to be updated or condensed. I do plan to look into the Elections Act as I do recall some parts of the bill being outdated or contradicting another piece of legislation.
Bipartisan Relations
I will work effectively with my colleagues and maintain a good relationship with the Senate to pass positive legislation.
Along with that, I will do whatever it takes to bring back the reputation of the House of Representatives and bring it back to its glory days. The current leadership of the House is decent, but it can be better. There needs to be less fighting and more representation for the people who elected us.
County Relations
I am committed to prioritizing our relations with the county government. I will ensure that the state government doesn’t overstep the powers that are granted to us by the Constitution and create a loving relationship with the county. By doing so, I will ensure that each legislation that directly affects them will be communicated effectively and respectfully.
