Insurance Fraud Prevention and Accountability Act


         Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,


SECTION 1. DEFINITIONS

(a) A “Driver” shall be defined as any individual who is actively operating a vehicle within the State of Firestone.

(b) The “Firestone Criminal Code” shall be defined as: Trello

SECTION 2. ADDITIONS

(a) Chapter 4, Section 25 of the Firestone Criminal Code currently does not exist, but shall be established, titled “§25 - Insurance Fraud”, and shall state: "

(a) The act of Insurance Fraud shall be recognized as an unlawful criminal offense within the State of Firestone.

(b) The act of Insurance Fraud shall be defined as an individual purposefully remaining in front of or otherwise hindering a vehicle actively in motion in an attempt to be struck and/or injured by the vehicle without the consent of the driver of said vehicle.

(c) Commissioned law enforcement officers; voluntary peace officers, including (but not limited to) non-certified correctional officers; or national guardsmen while acting in their official capacity shall be exempt from this Section."

(b) Chapter 4, Section 25 of the Firestone Criminal Code shall be classed as a Class B Misdemeanor.

(c) Chapter 4, Section 25 of the Firestone Criminal Code shall carry a jail time of 300 seconds.

SECTION 3. LIABILITY

(a) The driver of a vehicle who has struck an individual shall be relieved from any criminal or civil liability as prescribed in this act, should the driver have the right of way and otherwise not be acting in a negligent or reckless manner.

SECTION 4. ENFORCEMENT

(a) This Act shall be enforced by any relevant parties.

SECTION 5. ENACTMENT

(a) This Bill shall go into effect as an Act of Congress upon completing the processes constitutionally required.

SECTION 6. SEVERABILITY

(a) Should any part of this act be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, then that part shall be severed with the rest remaining in full force and effect unless all is struck down and/or declared unenforceable.
