don’t support, however dot members should only be impounding if an officer says to in my opinion, obviously for other offenses such as illegal parking and such, that’s on you to make that decision but I tend to go by that policy and don’t worry about impounding abandoned vehicles unless they are obstructing traffic in the middle of the road, also guys we aren’t mean we won’t impound for your car being illegally parked in a high va parking lot, most of us use best judgement and it’s deserved when we do it normally also guys like if you are a criminal and you can afford a vehicle like that I’m sure you can afford

Literally the entire reason that @blaadam added the ability for DOT members to be able to select reasons for the impound and the price gets dictated via that. Points all irrelevant.
