Hello, fellow patriots of Prominence.
There once was a time when our glorious District of Prominence was a safe and thriving town, a town in which citizens were able to walk the streets at peace, in which businesses flourished and our people were as one. Sadly, those days are now in the distant past. Slowly, anarchy crept into our streets, initially with the invasion of our great Capitol, and now with criminal thugs indiscriminately terrorizing our neighborhoods and forcing us to live in terror.
I will not settle for this as the new normal. I will not simply sit around and do nothing.
I’m iHamzahs, and I’m campaigning for Prominence District Council because I think that we can restore the peace, prosperity, and pride our district once enjoyed. As a veteran of our state’s law enforcement for years, I’ve witnessed firsthand what crime does to a community, but I also know how we can stand up to it and rebuild.
First and foremost, I want to make our streets safer for our citizens. I will work with fellow Councilmen and the PDP to place extra patrols in high-crime areas of our city. Second, I will advocate for better community policing to rebuild trust between citizens and officers. Third, I will advocate for harsher punishment for career criminals and gang members terrorizing our streets.
My second agenda item is to bring businesses back to Prominence. I will do this by helping to initiate programs to further promote the businesses that are headquartered in our city so that they can be seen and receive backing from the city government. Secondly, I plan on creating an avenue where business people get personal contact with city officials so that they can voice their concerns and needs. Third, I will advocate and push for more police patrols of vulnerable and targeted businesses.
Prominence has been a district full of potential from time immemorial, and we can, together, revive it. We can make our streets safe, promote local business, and give birth to a more united community and Make Prominence Great Again
