[IDEA] Law Enforcement Agencies

So then what does it make you qualified to do? Read a prntscr and say “ok patrol log approved!!!”?

It makes you qualified to execute decisions related to your realm of experience, which, as a uniformed sergeant, relates entirely to uniformed operations.

and when you do not give these individuals an opportunity to actually lead in situations where a command is needed, then you’re left with what we have now in Firestone.

But say what you want here… no one can out-command FNG on a tactical scene! No matter their seniority rank outside of FNG.

If not this proposal, then what?
What can be done to make it so that scenes are much more organized?

the system we have atm works fine idk what you are talking about

The system we have now is shitty at best.

These individuals are not given the opportunity to lead in command-needing situations because not only is situational command decided by SWAT, but because we designate the command long before we arrive on the scene of a call.

Throughout the entirety of this debate, you have still failed to show me what good will come out of uniformed Supervisors leading tactical units into battle, especially when lacking the needed tactical experience that can not be earned through a training. Actuating this idea would be like a student telling his teacher what to do.

lol what

This isn’t an argument, it’s a debate. The answer to your question is in the original post. I can tell you haven’t even read it in it’s entirety.

Going to say this again…

So the lets say the Captain of Community Relations in SCSO (for example), should out-command SWAT/CRT because he is the highest rank online? Despite his lack of training compared to SWAT/CRT?

@Saberathe

@Lidels Does this make sense?

we trained for hours to get the knowledge we have. we aren’t gonna give it over to someone who went to a 30 minute course and copied shit down

Your training is the equivalent of Firestone Senators making legislation.

you don’t know shit about swat/crt training but ok

I’m literally a Captain in FSP and I think this is a rather bizarre idea. The game needs balance and SWATs/DHSs/FNGs training is amazing and they work hard for these specific high risk scenes.

If that is the only response you can provide, then your presence here is not necessary.

Yea this is the stupidest and worst idea I’ve seen all week

I’ll say it again we train for hours to learn our knowledge, we aren’t gonna follow orders of someone who sat and copied notes at a 30 minute course

Honesty here, I don’t trust some LEOs and supervisors in this state with a baton let alone a glock, now giving them command is just stupid since we have trained tact units to do that job.

If this idea were to start… it won’t… but IF it were, I’d literally yield all my command as a Captain on a scene to any SWAT/DHS on that scene. That’s just common sense. They have way more training on tactical scenes. I’m in FNG and all, but they have the big guns and gases.
