Since people have only recently figured this out, the freedom of information act is incredibly poorly written and easy to abuse: here’s how to weaponize it against people you dislike!
Step 1: find someone you dislike - department heads/ people subject to freedom of information only
Step 2: send them a valid request once a second!
Step 3: they are legally obligated to respond to each that they have received it and also provide the information requested or justification to why it cannot be released.
Congress didn’t write themselves into it(cuz obviously) but there’s no time limit on how many requests anyone can submit at once.
Also, this is entirely legal!
Make sure to include all the necessary information so your requests are valid. Have fun!

You can originally blame Congress for putting it in the BOR that they are required to write legislation on it. Imagine giving yourself work, not doing the work, then being forced to do the work.
just so y’all know I along with a bunch of people told congress the version they wrote was stupid but they didn’t listen so I’m just letting them deal with the natural consequence
