Rules & Additional Information
- Candidates may not commit any crime against democracy, as defined in Chapter 12 of the Firestone Criminal Code.
- Candidates may not maliciously harass anyone for support.
- I must disqualify candidates for failure to abide by any constitutionally mandated requirements. These requirements need not be explicitly stated in the election rules.
- Should a candidate have an unexpunged, unpardoned, or otherwise unremoved felony arrest or conviction, or an outstanding felony arrest warrant, I must disqualify the candidate.
- Candidates may not violate any section in The Elections Act or violate any other election requirements or rules set by law.
- Candidates may post a reply containing a Discord screenshot on behalf of an individual voicing “support”, so long as the screenshot includes the individual’s Discord User Identification Number as well as a date and time stamp; any Candidate’s reply on behalf of another individual must also contain a link to the individual’s Roblox account. Only Firestone citizens may support a candidate for office.
- Being in Congress counts as 1 primary job or 2 secondary jobs. Additionally, other limitations exist as laid out in the Employment Act of 2023 and the Corrupted Government Prevention Act.
- You must post your speech in the replies to this post only after receiving 10 valid signatures, and prior to the deadline for signatures.
Election Dates
- Campaigning Opens: May 28, 2025 at 5:15 PM EST
- Campaigning Closes & Signature Deadline: June 1, 2025 at 8 PM EST
- Voting Opens: June 1, 2025 at 8:15 PM EST
- Voting Closes: June 2, 2025 at 8:15 PM EST
The two elected Representatives shall take office immediately. This election will be conducted using the Block Plurality Voting (BPV) system.
