@Hobo_Bear, (1) what are you views on the Department of Public Safety; (2) will you be as absent in terms of communication with its leadership team as the incumbent Governor; (3) will you aide its leadership team in improving the department rather than imposing restrictions that only harm our ability to improve?

We are pretty concerned with the current activities of the Department of Public Safety, there is a lack of communication between DPS and the public when it is extremely vital for this department in particular to work with the public.
Looking onto the DPS Investigations Board, we aren’t entirely quite sure why there are cases which are a month and a half old still pending for FSP, while SCSO cases get assigned within 2 weeks at most. We’ll ignore the fact that the chain of SCSO cases just prior to the audit were accepted within an hour of submission.
Should I get the governor position, we would love to hear DPS’ side of the story regarding the matter and come to an agreement as to what should change in terms of re-establishing public relations and trust into the department.

We hope to be in communication with the leadership team. We have quite a few departments that we have previously spoken to which we are happy to let run self sustainably with minimal intervention, allowing us to put more attention into departments who want our help more. Obviously all departments have the same privilege of our attention, they just need to bring it to our attention.

I am more than willing to work with any department to improve on their current state. It is a brilliant first step to know that a department WANTS to work on improving as we do not want to waste our time and resources on leadership that are actively trying to refuse improving their department.

@Hobo_Bear With you being the former Major General, how do you feel about the current state of the National Guard, and if you get elected, do you have any plans for the National Guard?

I am happy with the current state of the National Guard, I am happy for the new Major General and I will wish him the best of luck in his time as the MAJGEN.
I will happily continue to aide and advise the Major General as it will be a huge learning curve for him, balancing the needs of so many divisions and their units are extremely difficult and it will initially take a few months before getting to understand and become comfortable in the position.
I would love to give more for the National Guard, it is my baby, but I would NEVER treat FNG any differently to another department. All departments will be treat equally and be given the same support, if they do not want this support and prefer to run self sustainably, that is their option.
My plans that I have with FNG? We have the “VII. State Security” topic in this forum which FNG will hopefully be participating in scrims. Additionally, joint military exercises could commence with the New York.

There is still a lot of information that cannot at this time be released, allowing for conspiracies to form.
We will most definitely want to wait until we have been given more context regarding the situation however if any of these allegations are true, we would look into resolving this matter.
You can be assured that during our term we WILL be more transparent and will provide reasoning before conspiracies can be formed. This is however a very dynamic situation and there is still a lot of unknowns.
