Gun Control Act
PREMABLE
To save lives.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1. The term “gun control” is to be recognized.
- “gun control” refers to the act of taking measures to reduce the risk of armed
crime, as per C.IV.V.
SECTION 2. The usage of gun control shall go as follows:
a. The state legislature is fully obliged to take measures to reduce the risk of
armed crime through the act of passing gun control. All state legislation
pertaining to the subject of gun control shall be considered absolute and superior
to those of local councils.
b. Local councils [see ii.] may pass legislation pertaining to the act of gun
control. All county legislation must follow state regulations, limitations,
standards, terms, etc.
i. If any local council dares to violate any state legislation relating to the
matter of gun control, it shall be considered illegal and a high crime.
ii. “Local councils” or “local council” is defined within the legislation “A
Bill to Recognize Local Councils and Governments”.
SECTION 2A. The state legislature is fully permitted to nullify any county legislation going against state regulations, limitations, standards, terms, etc.
SECTION 3. The Governor of Firestone is permitted to issue Executive Order(s) pertaining
to the act of gun control.
a. The state legislature is permitted to nullify [see i.] any executive order that
directly infringes on the rights of citizens or goes against state regulations,
limitations, standards, terms, etc.
i. As per C.I.IX
ii. “goes against” is not the same as “adding to” or “elaborating” – the state
legislature cannot use the reason of “goes against” for executive orders
that are “adding to” or are “elaborating” to state regulations, limitations,
standards, terms, etc.
SECTION 4. This legislation shall go into effect immediately.
SECTION 5. All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
