Grants for business owners

Funding a business can be quite expensive and pretty hard if you own a business that doesn’t return profit (businesses that offer services rather than products), its even harder if the business owner doesn’t hold a job outside of the business.

I think it would be a good addition for DOC to create a grant system where a small business owner can request a grant for up to said fsd (10,000 fsd for example), obviously this can be exploited however limitations would be placed.

There would be needed requirements to obtain such grant, however they shouldn’t be impossible to achieve (requirements such as, 10+ employees within the business, business older than said week/month, activity, etc)

The grant can be funded by the chairman, dep sec and/or sec as they earn/have enough money :skull:

you don’t need any FSD to start a business??? to pay employees, you should have enough already once you start a business.

way too much, the business owner could basically just ditch the business after that and attempt to remake one for more

why doc rather docm

businesses such as Iconic have actually worked to get donations and proven themselves worthy of one, no one would want to just randomly give 10k FSD to a random, new business

sir i spent all of md and serts budget on new f150s and the majority of platoon 2s as well, we dont have enough money to start giving businesses money

250 fsd x 10 (employees) = 2,500 fsd for a few shifts

As I said there would be a system put into place to give it to a well structured small business and not a ‘random’ one.

As said, there would be limitations implemented.

He’s talking about commerce but he’s using the US abbreviation and not the FS one

docm is used because it helps differentiate since corrections came first and fs technically isn’t in the us

it was a very sarcastic remark poking fun at having two departments commonly abbreviated to doc (and that people refuse to say docm)

Honestly just join a department like DOT if you want to get paid. Right now businesses are pretty much volunteering and it’ll stay like that a long time. The issue with giving funds to business owners are

  1. Very easy to abuse, people can request a large amount of money and abandon the business.
  2. Many businesses are dead, with a bad command/administration, few employees, awful activity.
