Give Military Police Their Handcuffs Back

What I say here is not a bash on the devs, I’m just generally annoyed at this and how long it’s been taking.

Military Police has had their handcuffs removed for over a month and a half with the constant promise of having them back soon, just that the devs are “busy.”

It’s a simple job; re add the script that allows us to have our cuffs. If you can redo the loading screen, you surely can re add a script.

Here’s a list of things we cannot do without handcuffs and MP specific tools:

  1. Arrest base breachers
  2. Assist with calls while on deployment (Need hostages searched, people arrested, etc)
  3. Enforce laws (Both on guardsmen and on civilians)
  4. Cite/arrest loiterers
  5. Detain people (Who’s to say someone isn’t going to just FRP when we say -pins- or whatever)

All I request is for our handcuffs to be re added.

All the devs gotta do is copy the cuffs from the DHS, FSP, or SCSO team and paste it into the MP team.

Military Police is POST Certified, you goof head. Read the damn title.

FDOC had to require POST certification to keep cuffs and other law enforcement tools, why wouldn’t military police have to then? oofie

The devs took it away because of what SF did in the past.

That shit’s done now, can MP have their cuffs back? I don’t have to time to wait for FSP/SCSO to come by and arrest someone, I’ll simply shoot them up merclessly

You just said some dumb stuff.

How do you think, if MP is LEO battalion, does it require POST cert? Of course it damn does. Aswell,

Did you even read that? The cuffs were removed BY DEVS. The whole point is that devs removed the cuffs and refuse to give them back.

Next time, remember to not say stuff about something you don’t know about.

Someone has already told me my mistake, don’t have to explain it again.

I’m pretty sure the senate passed a legislation for military police to be able to enforce all laws within their jurisdiction but okay

How can they enforce it if they got no cuffs?
