Introduction:
Greetings, I am FrostEspresso and I am officially declaring my candidacy for the County Executive of Stapleton County. For those who do not know me, I have been involved in Firestone politics since 2022, I have served in a multitude of occupations within the State, County and other municipal governments. I served two consecutive terms as Mayor of Redwood from October to June 2023, and one non-consecutive term from October 2023 to January 2024 . I have a track record of restoring activity and fulfilling my promises, I am dedicated to bringing back the County’s former glory and that is exactly what I will do.

My Plans:
The Executive Branch
I believe in effective communication between the Office of the County Executive, the Cabinet, subordinate agencies and the rest of the Administration. As Mayor of Redwood, I ran the city very well and my administrations were very transparent and open with the general public.
I will enforce County Executive bacon_xv’s Monthly Department Reports Executive Order, proper communication between departments and the public is key to build trust, support and respect. My office will release bi-weekly press releases to keep the public informed of the goings on in my administration.
I do not plan on micromanaging my administration and reforming it, I will however bring in new faces to the Office of the County Executive. This includes a new Chief of Staff, advisory body and Press Secretaries. I also plan on establishing Executive Committees, I did the same in Redwood where I established the Redwood Emergency Executive Committee and I will do the same if elected.
The Legislative Branch
I have served in the County Council for 4 terms, and one term as County Chairman. As Chairman I mentored multiple Councilmen who are now key players in Firestone politics, I plan on doing the same as County Executive while working with the Chairman to ensure the council is a place of competence and effectiveness. I will select an individual who I deem is competent, intelligent and has good plans to be nominated as County Chairman. I will also suggest the council with ideas for bills and review the legislation they propose and send to my office for a signature.
Department Plans
I believe the Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office, Fire Department & Port Authority are running well. I do not plan to micromanage and change anything, I will meet with department heads and ensure their departments are running smoothly and have the support they need.
Municipal Plans
As the former 3 time Mayor of Redwood, I know how to work with the County and establish strong ties. I will work with municipalities and frequently meet with Mayors and offer any support I can give. My administration will not micromanage municipalities, however we will monitor them and ensure they have the support and resources they need.
New Ideas
As said previously, I plan on establishing Cabinet Committees to take collective decisions and analyze key issues and develop strategies to resolve issues. In my tenure as Mayor of Redwood, I established multiple committees which turned out to be very useful and effective. As County Executive, I will establish the following committees;
Emergency Disasters Committee: The Emergency Disasters Committee (EDC) will be tasked with managing county-wide emergencies such as natural disasters & high levels of criminal activity.
External Affairs Committee: The External Affairs Committee (EAC) will be tasked with developing ways to strengthen ties with the State and municipalities.
Economic Welfare Committee: The Economic Welfare Committee (EWC) will be tasked with monitoring the economic affairs of the county and developing ways to support businesses and strengthen the economy.
I also plan on establishing the Economic Affairs Office to support the businesses of the county and our economy. Supporting businesses is usually left to the municipalities, something which I respect and will not interfere with. As Mayor of Redwood, I constantly met with business owners and supported them however I could, I established a grants program designed with financially supporting businesses. As County Executive I plan on doing the same, I also plan on hosting job and business fairs, something which I also did a lot as Mayor.
I also will establish the Municipal Affairs Office, it will be tasked with communicating with municipalities and establishing an efficient method of communication.
Additional Plans
I am committed to interacting with the public and reviving the county, one method which I will implement that worked very well for me in Redwood is hosting community events. Events bring people together and are a great way to interact with the public, some examples of events I plan to host are Q&A’s, business fairs and department fairs.
I will also revise all Executive Order’s and ordinances to ensure they are still useful in modern times and still apply, all trello’s will also be looked over to ensure they are not outdated.
Conclusion:
In conclusion, I have served within the County in a multitude of capacities and have proven my experience and knowledge. I plan on revitalizing the county and bringing it back to it’s former brilliance, I am dedicated in reviving the county and I hope to serve as your County Executive.
