I have recently invested my time in a new group “Firestone Civilian Defense” and I would like some public feedback on the group.
The group itself hasn’t been created yet due to low funds, however the concept and base has.
Firestone Civilian Defense is not a private protection detail, instead, an organization of dedicated “Defense Volunteers”, may I say that again, Volunteers, consisting of Former or Off-Duty EMTs, POST Staff, and LEOs. We are also looking for civilians with certifications.
To be a staff member, you must have EITHER a Legal Firearm license (Weaponry Division), EMT/First-Aid Certification (Medical Aid Division), or BOTH (Dual-Defense Division). All 3 of those divisions are split up groups of Defense Volunteers according to their certifications.
Now how do Civilians play a role in this? If one of our volunteers, playing in the county, see danger occurring, they can step in right away with their certifications until Emergency Services arrive. We have policies on how to act in these situations.

We are, again, looking for Investors.
And to clear up some confusion, its kinda obvious, if someone has a certification in a Legal Gun or a EMT, you would expect them to behave when they use their certifications. This is no more than a group of people withholding those certifications who want to be in a big group.

So I’m CFCT Certified, and First Aid, but I’m also a government official so could I sign up.

Yes, the Firestone Civilian Defense is not a department.
You could sign up, any citizen regardless of current occupation can sign up.

TO ANYONE WHO CARES:
We just had an AMAZING HELL AMAZING SHIFT at the county. I, Dev, and Matthew, even a Proud Supporter, all contributed to the success before and even during Police presense. With the lack of EMTs online, I did a lot of stuff with my EMT-B certification. I am upright proud of this organization so far. GREAT WORK!
