FinleyFraser12345 4 Senate

Hello, Citizens of Firestone, my name is FinleyFraser12345 or Finley for short, and I am running to become a senator of this great state.

I’m going to TRY (and probably fail) to make this speech simple and short, however, by the end, I am sure you will be convinced to vote for me.

Who am I?

You’re probably wondering who I am, and unless you have dipped your toes into the legal nerd, law community, you probably haven’t heard of me.

Well, I am a Bar Certified Attorney who has been in Firestone since 2019. When I joined I soon got arrested and went criminal for about 2 years, but was still lurking in the background of the community watching as the state developed.

I am now a Bar Certified Attorney and have several lawyer positions around the state. (I’m also legal, no more criminal record)

Positions & Certifications
  • x2 Stapleton County Councilor

  • x1 City of Redwood Alderman

  • Department of Justice Public Defenders Office

  • Prominence District Police

  • Stapleton County Legislation Review Committee Member

  • City of Redwood Assistant City Attorney

  • Department of Boating and Waterways Legal Representative

  • Bar Certified Attorney

  • POST Class 77

Goals & Plans

I have several goals and plans in mind after speaking with members of the community.

  • Make harassment illegal (like when people are just annoying others for no reason without violating the Bill of Rights ofc!)

  • Fix election law so we don’t have 10 bills from 2017, but don’t also destroy democracy.

  • Fix loitering and trespassing (many outdated images, many randomly numbered sections due to countless amendments)

  • Work with the county and municipalities to set out clear legislation on what each level of government is responsible for (make the municipalities and county useful.)

  • Finally fix FTC to define what a “lawful order” is

  • Fix the FOIA law (it still has some quirks in it)

  • I think someone already doing this, but if they aren’t, finally make a petition law (something Congress has been constitutionally required to do for months)

  • Law on pardons (not to restrict the governor, but just to make some things clearer and so pardons aren’t used as governor expungements)

Conclusion

In conclusion, I am the ideal person to have on our state’s senate. I have tons of legal knowledge and background within this state. I have been involved in the criminal community and the legal sided community so I can see things from both perspectives (rare). I overall plan to make Firestone a better place for everyone.

How do you plan to ensure this doesn’t infringe on freedom of speech?

What requirements/ criteria will this include?

It will mainly be an extension of stalking, this will allow people to ask people to back up. Currently unless you follow someone it’s not stalking, harassment will be if someone is standing around you and won’t leave you alone if asked.

Mainly that there needs to be a certain amount of arrests and that the pardon is being issued to someone who is a criminal trying to go legal and not just as a false arrest expungement type pardon.

So if you’re standing in line at a business, what stops a Karen from yelling, " YoUr HaRasIng Me!!! Leave NOW" ?

Additionally, say you’re at an event, it’s inevitable that people will be close together. How would this scenario work?

The law would more be around when people intentionally huddle around a specific person who asks to hit be huddled around and the law would make it clear that things like lines or events don’t count (chances are the word malicious or maliciously would be in the law to stop these kinds of loopholes)

If an individual got false arrested, should there be an easier avenue to get that record removed so they can get back to work instead of individuals who did terrorize others on purpose?

The courts take slower than an individual saying you’re good to go. I’m just scared that it will be restricted too much and cause unnecessary delay & drama.

Sounds a lot like BREC. So why have two programs that do the same thing essentially?

I believe it is best to leave false arrest expungements to the court. This way the proper arguments can be made by both the defendant and the state. Also this allows someone who is an expert in the law to examine whether or not it was false or not.

While similar to BREC, BREC has certain requirements. BREC also deals with POST revokes and PSBs, Pardons do not.
