Hello! I am mrallen22, and I am running for a position within the Senate.
I’ve been in the State of Firestone since 2016, and I’ve avoided politics throughout my time within this ro-state. Throughout my time here, I’ve prioritized myself with the focus of Law Enforcement. After witnessing the ups and downs of this State throughout the past couple of months, I feel it’s finally time to take a break from Law Enforcement and recenter my focus on the politics of Firestone.
Current occupations:
Firestone State Patrol - Trooper
Former occupations:
Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office - Deputy
Department of Corrections - Correctional Officer
Plans within the Senate:
There are many issues that have always concerned me that I plan to center my work towards. Firstly, there are a lot of topics that have very light legislation based around them. I do know that a lot of the legislation involving the Department of Commerce and businesses overall tend to be very vague, and a lot of the laws in place on these topics can be improved greatly.
Throughout my time in this State, I’ve recognized many citizens that have ideas on legislation, they just don’t possess the time and skills to actually run themselves. If elected as a Senator, I’d make it my focus to pay close attention to the citizens and the ideas they come up with. Although to some, this may seem absurd, I’ve met many criminals with ideas on legislation that would top the ideas of an average congressman. All citizens have a voice in government as well, and I feel as if they need their voice to be heard. Everyone deserves the right to pledge your ideas and let them be heard, and I’m here to make that a reality.
Conclusion:
As a newcomer, I have a lot to learn throughout this position. If elected as a Senator, I plan to serve my entire term without an early resignation. I’ve noticed early-resignations tends to be an increasing problem for the State of Firestone, and I have no intentions of resigning before the end of my term.
