Citizens of Firestone,
It is without a doubt that the Firestone community has changed over these last four months. After four eventful months, DyingSym & AestheticallyHappy have decided to declare their candidancy for the 2022-2 Gubernatorial Election.
ABOUT THE CANDIDATES
DyingSym is the incumbent Governor of the State of Firestone since January 2022. As Governor, DyingSym hosted a wide variety of events with the public in attendance. He met with numerous individuals in the private sector, nominated individuals for departments such as Homeland Security, nominated a District Court Justice, coordinated press releases, released executive orders, met with foreign officials in the pursuit of strengthening relations, and much more.
Prior to becoming Governor, DyingSym served in a variety of positions, from County Executive to Director of the Peace Officer Standards & Training academy to Sergeant of the Firestone State Patrol. DyingSym also served previously as the City of Redwood Mayor for almost three full terms.
AestheticallyHappy is the incumbent County Executive of Stapleton County and Chief of Staff to the Governor. AestheticallyHappy has led the county since November of 2021, serving his second term. Prior to being elected as County Executive, AestheticallyHappy had served as the Stapleton County Chief of Staff and the Stapleton County Fire Department Deputy Fire Chief. Throughout his time in the County, AestheticallyHappy has become the most decorated member, boasting 3 County Executive’s Awards and a Governors Medal of Excellence, all for his leadership, knowledge and dedication to the County. Prior to joining the Stapleton County Fire Department, AestheticallyHappy served as a first term senator, earning his rapport with then Lieutenant Governor Ash1835 and his reputation for defendning the little man.
AestheticallyHappy has a total combined experience in executive and general leadership of just over 3 years. He is known to speak out for the little guy, facing anyone who tries to step on them as seen by his history and how he continues to operate his county. AestheticallyHappy has the knowledge, the dedication and the experience to serve this state as it’s Lieutenant Governor and lead Congress into a better day.
TERM RECAP
In his previous campaign, DyingSym promised to maintain transparency with the general public. While it may be difficult to achieve full transparency, DyingSym’s administration maintained transparency with the public by releasing press releases regularly and keeping the general public informed of executive matters. Over 40 cabinet reports were submitted since the beginning of the term, and the Governors met with the cabinet on a regular basis to ensure that they were up to date on executive matters and to provide any assistance if needed.
Most notably, DyingSym brought change to the Department of Public Safety, as promised in his previous campaign. It is in the opinion of the candidates that the Department of Public Safety is in a better place than it was before DyingSym’s election. Executive Order 61 was released during his term to ensure that the Department of Public Safety is held to standards.
DyingSym nominated key officials to positions within the State of Firestone, ranging from a District Court Justice, to the Department of Homeland Security Secretary, to Major General of the National Guard.
The DyingSym administration was regularly seen in Stapleton County interacting with the general public, attending business shifts, and so much more.
An Executive Branch Central Hub form was opened by Governor DyingSym to allow members of the public to express their concerns to the Executive Branch with the hope of it being dealt with.
The private sector was an extremely important aspect of the DyingSym administration. Numerous business shifts were attended by the Governors, numerous events were hosted with businesses, and much more. The administration hosted multiple events with businesses including fairs and tours which allowed businesses to speak with the Governors and ask for any help that they may need.
The DyingSym administration responded to the Firestone Power Outage crisis at the beginning of our term. With the help of our allies over in the State of New York, our public employees were able to identify the issue with the power outage and ultimately restore power quickly.
Executive Order 58 was recently updated to allow for not only the private sector to be recognized of their hard work, but departments as a whole.
After speaking with members of the cabinet and releasing department polls, Executive Order 55 was nullified to further promote department autonomy. Department Heads have since then implemented their own version of EO 55 into their policies.
It is in the opinion of the candidates that the first term was a success and a lot was accomplished during the term.
TERM AGENDA
The Department of Public Safety, without a doubt, is in a better place than it was before, under our administration, and will continue to triumph. We plan to continue to monitor and work with the Department of Public Safety to ensure that the standards are being met, and that the public continues to have trust in the department, as it has previously struggled to do over past administrations.
It appears that the Department of Homeland Security will unfortunately see an abolishment come version 3, which has unfortunately led to motivation loss in the department. We plan to work with the Homeland Security Secretary to provide anything they need necessary in order to keep the department running during this time, and continue to ensure that it continues operating to high standards until it’s final hours.
Our administration will continue to provide support to our county & city friends like we have previously done in the past. We believe that municipalities have so much potential, and that they deserve to be noticed. With both candidates having experience in the county, we understand how the county operates and their needs.
Our administration will continue to maintain an active presence in Stapleton County, supporting the private sector and interacting with the general public.
With AestheticallyHappy’s track record, the Senate will continue to maintain it’s activity and accountability as it does now with the current Lieutenant Governor.
Transparency within the Executive Branch will continue to play a role within our administration. Our administration will continue to utilize the Executive Branch Press Corps and maintain an active media presence.
We will remain as the Governors you can come to with any issue with the full intention of it being resolved.
