Hello, my name is elanjs, I am currently a Senator within Congress and I am seeking re-election for my second term, please read below to find my achievements this term, further information, and relevant experiences. I ask you to take a moment out of your day to read my campaign. Thank, you.
What makes me qualified?
Apart from my involvement in politics inside and outside of Firestone I am an FSP Corporal and Admissions Officer who actively engages with the community and works hard to make Firestone a safer place.
The fact is, during my first term in office, I have learned a lot from others and contributed to making important changes to legislation, I understand the needs of indvivduals, from law enforcement to the private sector, and a vote for me is a voice for you. I have always been passionate about my representation for law enforcement in the Senate and will continue to do so by introducing new legislation to offer extra protection to emergency workers.
Lastly, you as a voter, can have faith in me due to my experience inside and outside of Congress. I can take quick and effective action instead of being elected on a nonsense populist agenda.
My Clear Intentions
As I have briefly discussed before with another Senator, I wish to introduce a more proportional form of voting to Firestone, whereas the voter has more of a voice, I plan to implement this through discussion with Congress and eventually a referendum so the people ultimately have the choice of voting system that is desired.
Currently, Firestone uses an unproportional and frankly rather unfair voting system First-Past-the-Post (FPTP), this only gives the voter one choice out of many available candidates, I suggest a more proportional voting system such as PR, STV, AV, SV etc. (use the electoral reform society to find more information).
Furthermore, I wish to continue active discussion with law enforcement officers and citizens to understand their individual needs, which I have had some time to do but plan to do more of if I am elected for a second term.
