Introduction
Greetings Firestone citizens. I am DOJODOG_2004. Some of you may know me, however, most may not… Fret not, I’ll introduce myself and state the goals I will work towards if I get elected to the council.
Firestone was my second-ever Roblox state role-play game (with the first being Mano Country). I joined Firestone back in February 2021 looking for a more immersive and realistic role-play experience, and for sure, Firestone did not disappoint me.
Over the months, I actively began engaging myself in the community and soon got myself a CFL followed by employment in Firestone Department of Transportation and joining Firestone Police Explorers. Over time, I developed an affinity for the Firestone legal system and its structure. I tried my hand at the BAR exam in May, however ended up failing by 7 points.
To my dismay, I had to give up on playing Firestone for a few months to focus on school as I was nearing my final exams and graduation. However, now that I’ve graduated, I can spend more time engaging myself in the community.
Through this position, I wish to immerse myself in the legislative aspect of Firestone and improve the quality of life of my fellow citizens.
Goals
Throughout my time here, I’ve noticed that the city council legislation (ordinances) are rarely enforced. I believe that this can be attributed to the lack of awareness and engagement in the activities of the council by Redwood residents. To rectify this, I would attempt to host activities through which the general public can better understand and get involved in the activities of the council.
Next, I would have my doors open to communicate with any citizen(s) regarding the problems they face and genuinely attempt to address them.
I would also regularly communicate with citizens, groups, departments, and businesses in Redwood by participating in community events, engaging in discussion and debates on discord and forums to better understand issues faced by citizens, in order to offer support, assistance, and pass legislation to improve the quality of life.
Lastly, I promise to regularly attend council meetings and only act in the best interest of my fellow citizens during my term.
