not rlly, dhs gets away with a lot of false arrests
Big meme
“It can be good it just didn’t have good leadership”
hmmmm
Something oddly sounds familiar about this I just can’t seem to- oh wait! It’s the same thing that was said every time it was brought back and it still failed miserably.
no
‘fedora supports it’
cool
no one cares
fbi not needed. they never got tech and were useless and full of controversy and drama. we literally don’t need them.
They don’t need tech? DPS can survive without tech so can the FBI. If you read the purpose of the fbi is to be the dps for dhs and government officials
they never did anything good tbh. it was all drama and we don’t need more in this state that’s already toxic
also the whole “purpose” youve conjured up for fbi is that itd be a DPS for government officials
the ISSUE with THAT is that we already have one of those – its called cgoc!!
we dont need to bring back a thrice-failed department shrouded in controversy to replace something thats completely functional, especially when doing so would give ALL investigative powers to the executive branch solely.
improvements can be made to cgoc, certainly. i want to work on that next term. replacing it with fbi is not a ‘solution’ by any means. its pointless, and it is harmful to checks and balances.
What more does CGOC need
more checks, less congressional bias. it currently only consists of legislative branch members aside from the ltgov (an EB member who still has a major role in the LB) being allowed to ‘oversee’ (given that hes not in cgoc himself).
id like to bring in some people from other places in the government to check the legislative branch and improve upon cgoc (this would likely require a bit of a rebranding of cgoc’s function).
Good luck with Congress:IO, I’m sure it’ll be great next term
FBI should re-open with its focus on v3. I do think the state is going to expand with the release of v3 which would naturally bring new challenges for the state. There are a handful of people in the state who have the capacity to lead the department but it all depends on how the Governor plans to carry out his agenda.
I’ve never been vocal about FBI, but since it keeps being brought up, let me drop me two-cents.
The only reason FBI failed drastically was due to poor leadership and failure to properly executive their said duties. If there was a competent individual directing FBI how it should be directed, it won’t be too bad after all. Reading about CGOC, I’d personally say that there could definitely be instances of bias towards government officials that are on trial, considering that all Congress is love and hate for people and individuals. DHS does have an investigative sub-division and they do good work in this state, but all they really do is release releases that shatter an individual’s reputation, which brings public uproar and leading up to congress having to take action.
I support and don’t support the revival of the FBI. It all depends on who leads it. The only competent people are in DHS.
