Ash, I didn’t have a big problem with anything you did during your first term as Governor and I don’t think anyone else did for that matter. However, for some reason while you were running again for Gov and during your term now as a Senator you seem to have insisted to implement or introduce the US political system into Firestone. The only thing I’d like to ask of you is that you stop doing this. Stop acting like there are only two parties or groups who should fight each other and completely oppose each other and blame each other for everything. There are plenty of reasons why this does not work in this community, one of which being that it doesn’t even work in the United States. Besides, that’s not even what the US system is and not what it is supposed to be. Instead of serving in the interest of your own group and beliefs and big corporations (as they do in real life, in both of the Major US parties), you should be representing the people who vote for you (also something that isn’t the same as the US here).
I don’t know what made you suddenly act like you’re a Republican Senator in the US and the Democrats are to blame for everything, but just stop it. It’s in nobody’s best interest and at this point your ruining your reputation and career.

Section 7: While free speech is guaranteed by the Bill of Rights, judicial officers shall take due care to show a fair level of respect to all officers of the court and the public.
As a member of the court you should be respectful and should distance yourself from these types of situations. Justices on the court shouldn’t be political in any means. In my opinion supporting the removal of someone publicly is worse than publicly supporting someone who is running for office. If you want to be political then resign. But whatever.

i agree and thank you for your concerns as a canadian I am thankful to have 4-5 major parties to choose from each election and I do align mostly with republican but I do hold diverse policies that would be considered left leaning

Hey I may be wrong, in which I probably was wrong about this. That is why I wasn’t arguing for impeachment or something. I was just speaking ethically that the CCJ or any justice on the supreme court or any court should distance themselves from political matters like this.
That is my opinion.
