HIRING OPPORTUNITY: Chief Public Defender for the Department of Justice

The State of Firestone Department of Justice is currently seeking one [1] individual to fulfill the position of Chief Public Defender. This role is critical in ensuring that all citizens receive fair and equitable representation in the criminal justice system, regardless of their background and personal circumstances. The Chief Public Defender will lead the Public Defender’s Office, manage a team of skilled defense attorneys, and represent the interests of the people in court.

Requirements

  • Licensed Attorney with substantial experience in civil and criminal defense.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience.
  • Strong commitment to public service, justice, and advocacy.
  • Strong knowledge of the Firestone legal system and criminal law procedures.
  • No BLEE infractions or disciplinary action is preferred.
