Just to clear up some confusion in regards to my Lt. Governor choice - while perhaps not as experienced as I or others are, its important to note that l6vesome does have experience in politics. He was an active member of the County Council during one of my terms as Chairman (which ultimately became my first term as CE), has served as an advisor for former CE jackfruitism while he was a Mayor, and is the current Chief of Staff to arguably one of the most active mayors in Redwoods history, DonxId. l6vesome is definitely experienced and has had the opportunity to learn both about the operations if the Executive and of the Legislature.

As far as the comments made in regards to this being, or becoming, a joke campaign – both l6vesome and I are serious about running for this position and are dedicated to actually doing the job of proper executives should we win the office. We wouldn’t take the time to write a speech if we weren’t.

While politics play 50% of the Lieutenant Governor’s role, there is another 50% which funny enough, they are both 50% but one is far more important.

You can do without political drama, political figure, and still be a successful Lieutenant Governor. Unlike leading an Executive Branch, or working in the Executive Branch, it takes experience to lead a Legislative Chamber.

You can serve in inferior legislative bodies, but that does not prepare you for Lieutenant Governor nor Speaker.

Our outgoing Lieutenant Governor served in the House of Representatives for a brief stint, however, once they elevated to the position of Lieutenant Governor, throughout the entire term the productivity of the Senate was not great, and was riddled with turmoil.

What I’m saying is we CANNOT continue to support project candidacies as they damage the work that is done previously, i’m not saying that l6 could never be a good Lieutenant Governor Candidate, but is not compatible with the position as is right now.

No amount of statement or twist and turns can change the fact that the position is one that requires experience and isn’t one that someone can be put into without at least some sort of knowledge on legislative leadership.

You’re running on a platform, not running on “Oh I was former this and have experience so trust me”

You are running and addressing actual issues you want to tackle so support

Ultimately that’s how elections should be, and thankfully it appears as if Firestone is veering away from popularity contests and is instead recognizing accomplishments and achievements.

We greatly appreciate your support along with the support of everybody else.
