Traffic Code 81. Any individual who uses a phone or any cellular device while driving a vehicle shall be charged with Distracted Vehicle Operation.
a) All individuals shall be charged with a misdemeanor should they be charged for Distracted Vehicle Operation. Law enforcement officers will have the option of giving a verbal warning or issuing a citation that shall be no less than ten dollars to no more than one-hundred dollars.
b) The Firestone State Patrol, Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Corrections shall uphold the duty of enforcing the law against the crime of Distracted Vehicle Operation.
c) All laws/legislation that go in conflict with the charge of ‘Distracted Vehicle Operation’ are hereby declared null and void.
Traffic Code 82.1. Any individual who uses a vehicle and conducts a lane change too closely (three studs) to the front or behind another vehicle in another lane on any roadway, street, highway, etc, shall be charged with Conducting an Unsafe Lane Change.
a) All individuals shall be charged with a misdemeanor should they be charged for Conducting an Unsafe Lane Change. Law enforcement officers will have the option of giving a verbal warning or issuing a citation that shall be no less than ten dollars to no more than one-hundred dollars.
b) The Firestone State Patrol, Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Corrections shall uphold the duty of enforcing the law against the crime of Conducting an Unsafe Lane Change.
c) All laws/legislation that go in conflict with the charge of ‘Conducting an Unsafe Lane Change’ are hereby declared null and void.
Traffic Code 82.2. Any individual who conducts a turn onto a new road and does not finish the turn in the lane they started in shall be charged with Conducting an Improper Turn. Example: Drivers who turn left from the left lane onto a new road, must finish their turn in the left lane (closest to the curb or line marking). Same thing for the right lane, if a driver turns left from the right lane onto a new road, then the driver must finish their turn in the right lane. Drivers who turn right onto a new road from the left lane must finish their turn in the left lane. Same thing for the right lane, drivers who start their turn from the right lane (closest to the curb) must finish their turn in the right lane.
a) All individuals shall be charged with a misdemeanor should they be charged for Conducting an Improper Turn. Law enforcement officers will have the option of giving a verbal warning or issuing a citation that shall be no less than thirty dollars to no more than fifty dollars.
b) The Firestone State Patrol, Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Corrections shall uphold the duty of enforcing the law against the crime of Conducting an Improper Turn.
c) All laws/legislation that go in conflict with the charge of ‘Conducting an Improper Turn’ are hereby declared null and void.
Traffic Code 83. Any individual who operates a vehicle and runs any sign that requires them to stop shall be charged with Running a Stop Sign.
a) All individuals shall be charged with a misdemeanor should they be charged for Running a Stop Sign. Law enforcement officers will have the option of giving a verbal warning or issuing a citation that shall be no less than fifty dollars to no more than seventy-five dollars.
b) The Firestone State Patrol, Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Corrections shall uphold the duty of enforcing the law against the crime of Running a Stop Sign.
c) All laws/legislation that go in conflict with the charge of ‘Running a Stop Sign’ are hereby declared null and void.
Traffic Code 84.1. Any individual who operates a vehicle and goes over a certain speed permitted by a limit sign shall be charged with Speeding.
a) All individuals shall be charged with a misdemeanor should they be charged for Speeding. Law enforcement officers will have the option of giving a verbal warning or issuing a citation that shall be no less than five dollars to no more than eighty dollars.
b) The Firestone State Patrol, Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Corrections shall uphold the duty of enforcing the law against the crime of Speeding.
c) All laws/legislation that go in conflict with the charge of ‘Speeding’ are hereby declared null and void.
Traffic Code 84.2. Any individual who uses a vehicle to pass another vehicle or pass other vehicles, or get ahead of other vehicles while in a center left turn lane shall be charged with Passing in a Center Left Turn Lane.
a) All individuals shall be charged with a misdemeanor should they be charged for Passing in a Center Left Turn Lane. Law enforcement officers will have the option of giving a verbal warning or issuing a citation that shall be no less than fifty dollars to no more than one-hundred dollars.
b) The Firestone State Patrol, Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Corrections shall uphold the duty of enforcing the law against the crime of Passing in a Center Left Turn Lane…
c) All laws/legislation that go in conflict with the charge of ‘Passing in a Center Left Turn Lane’ are hereby declared null and void.
Traffic Code 84.3. Any individual who travels more than forty studs while within in a center left turn lane from the entering point of one shall be charged with Illegal Distance Within a Center Left Turn Lane.
a) All individuals shall be charged with a misdemeanor should they be charged for Traveling too Far in a Center Left Turn Lane. Law enforcement officers will have the option of giving a verbal warning or issuing a citation that shall be no less than eighty dollars to no more than one-hundred dollars.
b) The Firestone State Patrol, Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Corrections shall uphold the duty of enforcing the law against the crime of Illegal Distance Within a Center Left Turn Lane
c) All laws/legislation that go in conflict with the charge of ‘Illegal Distance Within a Center Left Turn Lane’ are hereby declared null and void.
Traffic Code 84.4. Any individual who uses a center left turn lane to conduct a right turn for any reason shall be charged with Inappropriate Use of a Center Left Turn Lane.
a) All individuals shall be charged with a misdemeanor should they be charged for Inappropriate Use of a Center Left Turn Lane. Law enforcement officers will have the option of giving a verbal warning or issuing a citation that shall be no less than one-hundred dollars to no more than two-hundred dollars.
b) The Firestone State Patrol, Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Corrections shall uphold the duty of enforcing the law against the crime of Inappropriate Use of a Center Left Turn Lane.
c) All laws/legislation that go in conflict with the charge of ‘Inappropriate Use of a Center Left Turn Lane’ are hereby declared null and void.
Traffic Code 85. Any individual who uses a vehicle and travels less than (20) (SPS) studs per second less than the posted speed limit on any roadway, street, highway, etc, shall be charged with Hindering. An exception would be if a driver is required to come to a stop or slow down by an object on the road, by any current laws, or anything that would require the driver to stop or slow down.
a) All individuals shall be charged with a misdemeanor should they be charged for Hindering. Law enforcement officers will have the option of giving a verbal warning or issuing a citation that shall be no less than twenty-five dollars to no more than one-hundred dollars.
b) The Firestone State Patrol, Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of Corrections shall uphold the duty of enforcing the law against the crime of Hindering.
c) All laws/legislation that go in conflict with the charge of Hindering’ are hereby declared null and void.
Section Four: It will be the duties of the Firestone State Patrol, Stapleton County Sheriff’s Office, Department of Corrections, Firestone National Guard, and Department of Homeland Security to enforce the criminal & traffic code. The Firestone Peace Officer Standards and Trainings will be mandated to include the subject of the criminal & traffic codes in their curriculum to make sure that all academy cadets within the Peace Officer Standards and Training are aware of the present criminal and traffic laws.
Section Five: This legislation shall go into effect (7) seven days after passing to allow time for all departments (enforcing this establishment) and the Firestone Peace Officer and Standards Training to prepare/familiarise themselves with the criminal & traffic code establishment.
Section Six: All laws/legislations mentioned within this legislation will be succeeding old laws and will hereby be declared null and void. All laws/legislation that are NOT mentioned/stated within this legislation WILL NOT be affected nor nullified and voided.
