County Enforcement Act of 2019

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1. Ordinances of the county, city, and/or all other established governments which have been deemed inferior to the State of Firestone government may be enforced by state law enforcement agencies with the approval of a simple-majority concurrence of the Congressional members of the County Affairs Committee at the request and proposal of said inferior government.

SECTION 2a. The County Affairs Committee shall not deny any ordinance for state enforcement on the basis of anything other than one of the following:

  • Unconstitutionality
  • Conflict with state law
  • Presence of dangerous ethical violations
  • Invalid/unenforceable by state law enforcement agencies
  • Vague/presence of dangerous loopholes (should be specified by the committee)

SECTION 2b. If the denial of state enforcement for an ordinance by the County Affairs Committee is in violation of this act, it may be overturned via a joint resolution of the State of Firestone Congress.

SECTION 2c. If the approval of state enforcement for an ordinance by the County Affairs Committee is deemed to be incorrect by one of the four (4) reasons outlined in Section 2a of this legislation, it may be overturned via a joint resolution of the State of Firestone Congress.

SECTION 3. The County Affairs Committee may reconsider its approval or denial of an ordinance for state enforcement by a super-majority concurrence of the entire committee. Requests to reconsider may only be made by a Congressional member of the committee. Once approval has been granted for reconsideration, the previous decision of the committee may be overturned via a simple-majority concurrence of the Congressional members of the committee.

SECTION 4a. This legislation shall go into effect immediately upon the passage of both it and β€˜An Amendment to Establish State Precedence (est. C.V.VIII).’

SECTION 4b. β€˜An Amendment to Establish State Precedence (est. C.V.VIII)’ shall be defined as the following legislation:
