I. CANDIDATE INTRODUCTION
Hello. I’m ConnorRhodesMD, and I’m running for an Alderman position on the Redwood City Council. I am running for a seat due to the fact that there has recently been an influx of crime within Redwood. My plan is to hopefully introduce some bills to the City Council to impose prison sentencing and financial forfeits to criminals who violate these laws. I am also running to introduce legislation to help our commerce section, which I have previously failed to do due to my term inactivity. However, since then, I have mostly resolved my schedule, so I anticipate on passing legislation during this term.

IV. CANDIDATE PLANS FOR REDWOOD
I will now lay out a simple outline of my plans for Redwood. Bottom line, we need more laws that have imprisonment as a punishment. For too long, we have let criminals overrun the city and I plan on passing bills to support and help the police department enforce these laws. Further plans include:
- Supporting the Redwood Commerce Section
- During the term, I am anticipating on working with the Office of Commerce Relations to improve business relationships and provide our residents with the basic necessities that they need to function everyday.
- Increasing Public Transparency
- Previous terms have failed to show transparency with the citizens of Redwood. During my term, I will address the citizens as needed and show them what their municipal government is doing behind the scenes. I’m also looking forward to improving our relationships with the citizens of Redwood.
