A Charter Amendment to Fix Process of Law
Preamble: Fixing District Character Error
BE IT ENACTED BY THE DISTRICT COUNCIL HERE ASSEMBLED THAT,
SECTION 1
Article 4, Section 6 of the District Character currently states:
“Should the Prominence District Attorney approve the proposal
or should they not have reviewed it within seven (7) days of it being
proposed to them, the proposal shall be forwarded to the District Council.
Should the Prominence District Attorney disapprove the proposal, the
proposal shall either be retired.”
SECTION 2
Article 4, Section 6 of the District Character shall be amended to state:

proposed to them, the proposal shall be forwarded to the District Council.
Should the Prominence District Attorney disapprove the proposal, the
proposal shall either be retired, redrafted or void"
SECTION 3
This District Charter Amendment shall go into effect immediately upon passing the legal processes as described by the District Charter.
