Callsign on roofs of cars

I 100% support this idea. I believe, this will help ASU give orders to LEO’s. For an example, if there would to be a pursuit, the pursuit would most likely succeed, since communications will be more organized and efficient.

You don’t need your callsign on the top of your roof. Your unit identifier can be different from your badge.

Also, ain’t it great that you’re entitled to your own wrong opinion on Firestone? Ah yes! Freedom of speech

ok ok ok

lets assume i DID like the idea

but WHERE would they go

the surface area of marked cars w/ lightbars is so incredibly small there would be no where to fit on it, besides the exception of SUVs

each employee could be assigned a vehicle #?

it wouldn’t ever change no matter the department, each individual would have their own #'s

for example:

in SCSO deputy has the roof car # 23056, on DOC he still has 23056, if he changes to FSP, he still has 23056, etc.

how would that work like… organisation wise? e.g. the phone numbers are your user id in hexadecimal.

that would be fairly overcomplicated and wouldn’t make identification easier, it should also note that theres like 800+ people who have callsigns.

putting the callsign on the roof would make identification easier for ASUs. same reason why the license plate on police vehicles is the callsign.

ASU isn’t able to see that much on ground. We can’t see people dancing, so I doubt that we’ll be able to see roof numbers whilst following FDOA and ASU policies.
