Bias with Lieutenant Governor Hecxtro and DPW

if you’d like an answer to that, look to the gif in your pfp

nothing wrong with his PFP

i didn’t say there was

i was making a joke

you see, the joke was that he asked if we can all learn to get along with each other
but this is firestone, ya see, where the community is way too toxic for that to ever happen

so the answer to the question lies within his own pfp, which says “how about no”

it’s a haha funny, you see?

I’m trying to figure out where the power grab is here. They don’t ask for rank, they don’t ask to be pushed forward at all to take whomever positions. If someone is posting links to explicit content in department discords they should be punished absolutely for that. This bickering about moving channels and muting sounds like petty infighting in a department that’s been struggling to have meaning based on the forum posts I’ve been reading. The Governor, Lt. Gov, and head of the department should try to figure it out. It’s clear department members don’t feel as though problems are being addressed properly so they’re going to the public. The public isn’t going to give them ranks in the cabinet or at the head of a department, doing this gets the opposite of that and im sure they know that.

im firing all of dpw and will assume the powers of oversecretary to then dismiss the entire department out of legislature.

the “powergrab” people are implying is because the complainants are direct subordinates to those being accused, minus the lt gov, and again, it was taken to the lt gov and they all agreed that the strikes were a fair punishment, infact there has only been one employee who has expressed discontent about it who is the main person complaining

usually in departments the only ones to see shortcomings and so fourth are those involved so it doesn’t surprise me that complaints would come from subordinates as that’s who’s being overseen. At the end of the day you’ve got to levy why people are feeling this way. If you genuinely think it’s a grab at power handle it appropriately, but from where i’m standing it doesn’t look like one at all. Looks like an employee feeling like particular people are getting special treatment, that may not be the case. But I look at the situation like this,

a.) Guy was mic spamming and being an annoying member of the VC resulting in him being tossed around muted and so fourth.

b.) A member of the department was targeted (whether it’s for banter, just fucking around gone wrong etc) and was tossed around chats and muted, whilst being ignored by everyone after it’s been done.

I’m not taking either persons word so for me that leaves an impasse that needs to be addressed by the Governor, and Department Head. Someone is lying, and it’s not easy to tell who based on the evidence presented.

worth noting they werent/arent a member of the department

the power grab is the 5ic refusing to accept anything less than co55ie being straight up fired for something worthy of like a strike, which is what the administration has been looking to give

its not like the administration is saying “no punishment whatsoever”

they’re being reasonable, and yet these two are demanding his job

Looks like he was looking for a demotion, and if Option B is the correct option in the situations that have transpired then he’d deserve a demotion. But the problem here is there’s no real proof to anything besides the things i already mentioned.

To be in such a position, as Associate Secretary, and think you can get away with breaking a rule, that you’re clearly aware of, then something should have been done about it. Such command positions are responsible for providing leadership, and to be role-models for the employees in your department below you.

From co55sie himself; “The next allegation made was regarding an image of which I posted, within the image was a link that supposedly led to some NSFW content. I fully understand my act of wrongdoing here, I did know what the link led to, however didn’t expect anyone to actually follow it, and only one person commented on it, and didn’t care about it.”

With that in mind, co55sie should have in my case received something more than a “strike or two” following this situation. To add on, I believe there have been ongoing command issues within the Department of Public Works over the past few governor terms, and hope to see something done about it all very soon. I don’t find it acceptable for a command member, such as an Associate Secretary to be able to pull something off like this, knowing you’re responsible for handling employee affairs, and situations that arise like this with your own employees, and think you’ll get away with it.

a.) If your spamming music in the background, and or being annoying like that, you should either be muted, or moved to another channel. I don’t see any wrong-doing on this.

b.) The posting of the link should’ve led to a suspension, if anything, as “strikes” are useless towards him.

However, it’s still unclear with (a.) to fully grasp the situation with not enough evidence.

edit: I didn’t mean to reply to Skye, I meant to reply to this thread.

regarding this, co55ie said that blueline was somehow voice spamming whatever that supposed to mean. he had no proof regarding that blueline was some how “voice spamming.” by the proof that blueline provided, i believe co55ie was purposely removing him from the voice call for some reason.
