An Ordinance to Allow Amendments to Tabled Proposals

BE IT ENACTED BY THE DISTRICT OF PROMINENCE COUNCIL HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

*PREAMBLE

In accordance with Article IV, Section 9 of the District Charter this Ordinance regulates the amending of proposals that have started the process of law, but have not completed the final process of the process of law.*

SECTION 1

A proposal that is placed on the tabled docket, as prescribed by A Resolution to Establish Council Motions, may be freely amended by the Chief Sponsor(s) of that proposal, while it is on the tabled docket.

SECTION 2

Once the proposal is taken off the tabled docket and placed back on the main docket, through the methods prescribed by A Resolution to Establish Council Motions, it may not be amended anymore by the Chief Sponsor(s) of that proposal, unless it is placed on the tabled docket again.

SECTION 3

“A Resolution to Establish Council Motions” shall be defined as: A Resolution to Establish Council Motions - Google Docs.

SECTION 4

The Mayor and the Deputy Mayor of the District of Prominence shall be responsible for the enforcement of this Ordinance.

SECTION 5

This District Ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon passing the legal processes as described by the District Charter.
