An Amendment to Logicalize Joint Sessions of Congress

AN AMENDMENT

To Logicalize Joint Sessions of Congress

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE

This Act may be cited as the An Act to Logicalize Joint Sessions of Congress".

SEC 2. ENACTMENT

This Bill shall go into effect as an Act of Congress upon the completion of the constitutionally required processes.

SEC 3. SEVERABILITY

Should any part of this Act be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, then that part shall be severed with the rest remaining in full force and effect unless all is struck down and/or declared unenforceable.

SEC 4. AMENDMENTS

  1. Article I Section IV Clause VI currently states : “The Governor, President of the Senate, and Speaker of the House shall be permitted to call a Joint-Congressional session, with the Speaker of the House presiding over both chambers, for a reason deemed plausible, with a matter that requires attention to the extent that it cannot wait until the next session of the respective chambers.”

(a1) Article I Section IV Clause VI shall be amended to state : “The Governor, President of the Senate, and Speaker of the House shall be permitted to call a Joint-Congressional session, with the Speaker of the House or President of the Senate presiding over both chambers, for a reason deemed plausible, with a matter that requires attention to the extent that it cannot wait until the next session of the respective chambers.”
