An Amendment to an Act to Expand Business Relations
*Preamble: The purpose of this Amendment is to combine Business Relations and Public Outreach into one office, streamlining their operations and allowing them to both be more effective in the process. *
BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY OF ARBORFIELD COUNCIL HERE ASSEMBLED THAT,
SECTION 1
This document shall be legally empowered and binding upon the completion of the process set out by the City Charter.
SECTION 2
Should any part of this document be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, then that part shall be severed with the rest remaining in full force and effect unless all is struck down and/or declared unenforceable.

An Act to Expand Business Relations currently states:
Section 6.
The Arborfield Office of Business Relations shall have the following duties and
responsibilities:
Building and maintaining communications with businesses within the city, organising
business related events, aid new businesses within the city, communicating with the
Firestone Department of Commerce, as well as work to meet the needs of businesses within
Arborfield.
Section 7.
The Mayor shall have the ability to add and edit the duties of the office at his/her discretion.

An Act to Expand Business Relations shall be amended to state:

The Arborfield Office of Business Relations shall have the following duties and
responsibilities:
Building and maintaining communications with businesses within the city, organizing
business related events, aid new businesses within the city, communicating with the
Firestone Department of Commerce, as well as work to meet the needs of businesses within
Arborfield. Additionally, the Office of Business Relations shall be charged with maintaining Relations with the Public, including organizing and hosting events, as well as any other duties appointed by the Mayor.
Section 7.
The Mayor shall have the ability to add and edit the duties of the office at his/her discretion. Addition of duties do not require a vote in the Council, but removals of duties shall require a simple majority in the Council.
