Be it enacted by the Senate and the House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,

§1. Title

(a) This amendment shall be known, and may be cited as “An Amendment to Accommodate the Beaumont Fire Department

§2. Enactment

(a) This amendment shall go into effect as an Act of Congress upon completing the processes constitutionally required.

§3. Severability

(a) Should any part of this amendment be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, then that part shall be severed with the rest remaining in full force and effect unless all is struck down and/or declared unenforceable.

§4. Enforcement

(a) This amendment shall be enforced by any relevant parties.

§5. Definitions

  1. The National Guard Act of 2022 is defined here.

§6. Amendments

(a) Section 7, Subsection e of The National Guard Act of 2022 currently states: “The Coast Guard and Combat Aviation shall also be considered part of the Firestone National Guard. The National Guard’s organisational structure may be changed as appropriate by the Governor or Adjutant General."

(b) Section 7, Subsection e of The National Guard Act of 2022 shall be amended to state: “The Coast Guard and Combat Aviation The Coast Guard, Combat Aviation, and the Joint Base Beaumont Fire Department shall also be considered part of the Firestone National Guard. The National Guard’s organisational structure may be changed as appropriate by the Governor or Adjutant General.”

(c) Section 11, Subsection g of The National Guard Act of 2022 shall be created and shall state: “Any on-duty medic or firefighter within the Stapleton County Fire Department shall have the power to ‘call-out’ (or ‘callout’) the Joint Base Beaumont Fire Department for the purposes of Mutual Assistance regarding a Fire or Medical related call.”
