An Act to Prevent Cabinet Overlap

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,

§1. Title

(a) This act shall be known, and may be cited as, “An Act to Prevent Cabinet Overlap”.

§2. Enactment

(a) This act shall be entered into effect seven (7) days following the constitutionally required process.

§3. Severability

(a) Should any part of this Act be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, then that part shall be severed with the rest remaining in full force and effect unless all is struck down and/or declared unenforceable.

§4. Enforcement

(a) This Act shall be enforced by any relevant parties.

§5. Definitions

(a) "State Cabinet" shall refer to the Cabinet in Article II, Section IV of the constitution.
(b) "County Cabinet" shall refer to the Cabinet in Article I, Section II of the Stapleton County Charter.

§6. Prevention of Simultaneous Membership in State and County Cabinets

(a) Members of the State Cabinet are prohibited from holding positions within the County Cabinet, and similarly, members of the County Cabinet are not permitted to serve in the State Cabinet.
(b) If an individual is appointed to a position within either the State Cabinet or County Cabinet and subsequently occupies a position within the other, they must vacate one of their positions within a twenty-four (24) hour period.
