PREAMBLE: WHEREAS, all municipal legislation fall under the same category, however are not separated by City. This law will push out a way for municipalities to separate themselves from each other.
By virtue of the County Charter of Stapleton County the Council hereby establishes that,
SECTION 1.
For short, this Bill may be cited as “An Act to Differentiate Municipal Legislation”
SECTION 2,
Upon passage of this act, this Bill shall go into effect as an Ordinance of the Stapleton County Council upon the completion of the legally required processes.
SECTION 3.
a. The ‘Firestone Forums’ shall be defined as “https://forums.stateoffirestone.com”
b. An ‘Optional Tag’ shall be defined as the feature on the Firestone Forums that allows users to add a grey tag beside an existing category. An example of an optional tag shall be provided in this screenshot: Screenshot by Lightshot
c. The 'Stapleton County Forums Act" shall be defined as “Stapleton County Forums Act.pdf - Google Drive”
SECTION 4.
a) Any submissions of legislation, resolutions, impeachments, expulsions, amendments, and other legal writing pertaining to the City of Redwood’s Legislative branch, as prescribed by their respective Charter, shall not be accepted unless an optional tag spelling out “Redwood” is added. It must also abide by the Stapleton County Forums Act, or any other regulations legally in effect.
b) Any submissions of legislation, resolutions, impeachments, expulsions, amendments, and other legal writing pertaining to the District of Prominence’s Legislative branch, as prescribed by their respective Charter, shall not be accepted unless an optional tag spelling out “Prominence” is added. It must also abide by the Stapleton County Forums Act, or any other regulations legally in effect.
c) Any submissions of legislation, resolutions, impeachments, expulsions, amendments, and other legal writing pertaining to the City of Arborfield’s Legislative branch, as prescribed by their respective Charter, shall not be accepted unless an optional tag spelling out “Arborfield” is added. It must also abide by the Stapleton County Forums Act, or any other regulations legally in effect.
SECTION 5.
Section 5, subsection a of the Stapleton County Forums Act shall be amended.
Section 5, subsection a of the Stapleton County Forums Act currently says:
“Any submissions of legislation, resolutions, impeachments, expulsions, amendments, and other legal writing pertaining to any Municipality’s Legislative branch, as prescribed by their respective Charter, shall not be accepted unless presented in a Firestone Forums post under the designated category (Municipal Legislation).”
Section 5, subsection a of the Stapleton County Forums Act shall be amended to state:
“Any submissions of legislation, resolutions, impeachments, expulsions, amendments, and other legal writing pertaining to any Municipality’s Legislative branch, as prescribed by their respective Charter, shall not be accepted unless presented in a Firestone Forums post under the designated category (Municipal Legislature).”
