A Amendment to “A Bill to Forbid Distracted Driving”

PREAMBLE: “A Bill to Forbid Distracted Driving” shall be amended.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS* HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:

SECTION 1: Section 2 of “A Bill to Forbid Distracted Driving” currently states:
The act of committing “Distracted Vehicle Operation” shall result in a simple warning or a citation
with a minimum of $10 to a maximum of $100.

SECTION 1B: Section 2 of “A Bill to Forbid Distracted Driving” shall now state:
The act of committing “Distracted Vehicle Operation” shall result in a warning or citation:
1st Violation - Warning
2nd Violation - $20-$30 citation.
3rd+ Violation - $30-$100 citation.
The violation shall be a misdemeanor charge.

SECTION 4: This legislation shall go into effect 24 hours after the bill has passed, and signed into
law by the Governor.

SECTION 5: All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
