A Amendment to A Bill to Define Obstruction of Traffic
PREAMBLE: To determine the type of infraction (misdemeanor or felony)
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS* HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1: Section 1B of “A Bill to Define Obstruction of Traffic” currently states:
“SECTION 1B: Citizens for their first offense shall be ticketed no less than fifty (50) dollars, and no more than one-hundred and fifty (150) dollars.”
SECTION 1B: Section 2B of “A Bill to Define Obstruction of Traffic” shall now state:
“SECTION 1B: Citizens for their first offense shall be ticketed no less than one hundred (100) dollars, and no more than one-hundred. Obstruction of Traffic shall be considered a misdemeanor.”
SECTION 2: Section 2C of “A Bill to Define Obstruction of Traffic” currently states:
“SECTION 1C: Citizens for their second or more shall be arrested for obstruction of traffic. The citizen shall be arrested for a minimum of 4 minutes (240 seconds), and a maximum of 6 minutes (360 seconds).”
Section 2B: Section 2C of “A Bill to Define Obstruction of Traffic shall now state:
“SECTION 1C: Citizens who either are intentionally obstructing traffic, and/or for their second or more offense shall be subjected to arrest for a misdemeanor charge of Obstruction of Traffic. The citizen who is in violation shall be arrested for a minimum of 5 minutes (300 seconds), and a maximum of 6 minutes (360 seconds).”
SECTION 3: A Bill to Define Obstruction of Traffic shall be defined as:
SECTION 3: Upon passage, this legislation shall go in effect 24 hours after it has passed and signed into law.
SECTION 4: All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
