The scene lights for DOT on the back of the tow truck don’t always do a good enough job for lighting up a scene. And without emergency vehicles there providing the flood lights from their cars, it gets tricky only being able to use the lights that are given off by the flares. My suggestion is to add a placeable light that can be used to light up a scene from any angle without needing to back the truck up to that exact point in order to light up that area. A example is say your vehicle down by the road and the scene is up on a hill. And if you are unable to move your vehicle up the hill, without using ASU to put a spotlight on the scene and without placing down a flare for very little lighting, you could place down this flood light and you would be able to instantly have visibility in your scene.
