So here Why isn't Homeland Security Under Department of Public Safety? I provided some arguments on why DHS isn’t DPS, and asked him why is he so biased towards DHS and FNG. Instead of answering me at least something he ignored my answer. I won’t copy something I already wrote in the link so you can check by yourself. However, I will repeat something.
DHS isn’t under DPS for several reasons.
1st, if I am not mistaken Fed don’t wants DHS to be under anyone.
2nd, DHS has a lot of classified info, DPS can’t have access to that info, very simple.
3rd, we have our own IA that does DPS’s job even better, as for me at least.
4th, DPS regulations will obstruct DHS operations, obvious.
