Well, I never thought we would be here but I think some people are also realizing this too.
With the recent decision by many prominent V2 criminals such as mvd1son, zeiil, and the Marzano crime family to go legal I started to realize and think, are we going to have a lack of proper criminals? Sure, we have the 2.0 packages who somehow find guns and rob ATMS but I don’t even remember the last thing I’ve seen a proper bank robbery. Maybe I’m just not online at the right times but is anyone else thinking we are going to lack proper criminals until another group or gang comes around?
*note I am not bashing your guys choice on going legal, just a observation
EDIT I FORGOT TO MENTION: well, you might also think LEO’s can just go crim ah!!! well as we know in v2 if you are a LEO and go crim you are considered the most toxic person in the world!
i’ve personally lost interest in doing any actual crimes other then sitting at CD because of the toxicity and rushing
I personally (along with others) attempt to do scenes once in a while to last a bit so we all have fun, but it ends with someone rushing inside and destroying the entire scene and calling people shit
even the FS criminal discord doesn’t have anyone talking about doing anything, it’s mostly about things OTHER then crime/rps
Hardcore crime aside, the #1 lack of small scale crime is due to a lack of law enforcement training. I could go in county right now and call in a domestic disturbance and I guarantee in about 2 minutes flat I’d see about 6 FSP, 8 SCSO, 5 SWAT, 7 CRT, and 3 FBI agents sitting outside of my door.
adding onto what i said, v2 has lost it spark and its playerbase is made up of shitty hotel criminals (no hate to bloxton), there are crims who wanna rp so badly like cuxle and borg but unfortunately its just not a good time. but something that is odd to me is that i didnt see many people complaining back then, when u couldnt even rob a bank. but yes its extremely repetitive and theres always some controversy lolol
havent seen a bank rob in a hot minute and the 950 citing PER CRIME instead of per arrest is money draining to criminals which leads to crims not being able to continue on with crime since paws guns are quite expensive
This probably is a direct effect of a lack of interesting calls to handle. Throughout my career as law enforcement (roughly 3 years), I have never dealt with a domestic disturbance call. It’s an interesting call, and everyone wants to show up and try to help.
Unrealistic and a waste of resources? Without a doubt.
Honestly, you’re absolutely correct. I bet every single unit would respond, just because we’re bored of the usual calls we get. I remember philip did a cool 911 RP once and literally everyone came, there were like 6 patrol units, a whole bearcat, and a CRT F-150.
If you look at the criminal side of Firestone, a lot of us criminals have faced a direct effect of toxicity, which is something no one wants to deal with. Looking at what I faced, I couldn’t rp properly. I attempted to raid capitol and governor’s mansion with a couple of friends, and we couldn’t even roleplay properly because it wouldn’t be rp’ed effectively or they would just rush in. Its also annoying how others call me toxic for confronting the “FRP”, even though they did FRP. Unfortunately, this makes me not want to stay criminal anymore, and just go legal.
im pretty sure it isn’t allowed but what are the courts/HICOMM gonna do lol, the courts are probably only going to suspend for like 3d-1wk
(a) The act of Racketeering shall be recognized as an unlawful offense in the State of Firestone.
(a1) The act of Racketeering shall be defined as committing any criminal offense in the furtherance of the goals, objectives, message, or generally agreed upon course of a labeled Criminal Organization. Wearing the uniform of a labeled criminal organization while committing a criminal offense shall also constitute the furtherance of the goals, objectives, message, or generally agreed upon course of the labeled criminal organization, and shall make the perpetrator subject to arrest for this offense.
(b) Law enforcement officers acting in their capacity while undercover to undermine a labeled Criminal Organization who must commit a criminal act to be acknowledged in the organization shall be immune to prosecution under this section as long as such was done in good faith.
This is plain insane. That’s $4750 and arguably against the rules the developers laid out with citations. That will take nearly 10 hours to make up for.
This. People complain far too much about about the court-induced jail time and completely ignore what is actually much more prominent: the fact that nearly EVERY arrest is 900 seconds in v2.
Don’t ask how but I’ve experienced someone who literally all they did was evade from a LEO after running a red light without ramming/endangering other cars and then was disabled a few minutes later in the same general area. They were new to the game and they got 900 seconds - the maximum jail time. So running away in a car from LEOs for a few minutes is supposed to be on the same level as organized mass terrorism? Makes sense.
Wake up, stop complaining about the courts and start complaining about what actually impacts new aspiring players. Court sentences are 1% of punishments in Firestone – not those which affect new criminals.
The legislature is concerned with a supposedly bad Constitution. Believe it or not, no one in the generic community actually cares about the Constitution. Problematic issues in Firestone are being ignored with the excuse that they haven’t been made aware of such and Congress is largely beating around the bush.
These threads are the only things close to making someone in government aware of the issues
