Wow Norfolk had only that much and it was crazy fun?
This is definitely a founder issue. The government should not make it easier or more enjoyable to commit crimes. The founders should balance the tools/abilities of criminals and officers to keep the game enjoyable.
Env has definitely been trying to do this, but until a few key things are added, criminals are at the mercy of a community that favors law enforcement.
Sentencing time should encourage criminals to be more creative in order to prevent getting caught—making it less doesn’t solicit thorough roleplay, but rather makes it easier for the people who shoot 12 people at CD for no reason to do it again.
Yup, I quit because of
- Jail time
-Toxic behavior
25 hours in jail is boring as hecc plus, I finally decided to play a few days ago, I bought an AK for 5k, got in a pursuit, my car flipped so I decided to not flip it as it’s FRP, The cop then flipped too but instead of roleplaying, he flipped his car in like 2 secs, and cuffrushed me. I asked him why did he flip and he said he never flipped, I even told him I recorded it and he still denied it. That is pretty toxic, I wasted my money on that ak and my time.
Every time Criminals get something LEOs get mad
Every time LEOs get something Criminals get made.
100% agree with this. The government shouldn’t be sanctioning an easier commission of crimes. It isn’t our job to develop the game.
Just because we decide to lower or add to the prison time, means that criminals do need to be more creative in the way they carry out their roleplay scenarios.
I said this was going to happen MANY MANY Months ago, and no one believed me…
This game is so cop based, its not even fun for criminals to hop on anymore, its so damn hard to get a gun now, jail time is so damn high, and we get cuff rushed for so many damn things…
There is no FRP enforced on the LEOs,
You guys have seriously made it impossible for criminals to do anything…
The cuff system is abused, you guys can go invincible anytime you want, we can’t break out of jail, we drive around recklessly (the only thing we really can do) and yall cuff rush us for it…
you abuse your tools, and your flat out toxic
I have numerous pictures of police flipping their cars in a pursuit, yet when we so much as tap a ambulance, or flip our cars, its cuff rush…ITS ABSOLUTE BULL!!!
This is exactly the whole you dug yourself into, and you absolutely deserve it…
another thing, is the biased IA/DPS and department supervisors
I’m not exactly sure what the point of having command members is, if none of yall want to do your job and start punishing your officers for frp
You see, I would turn criminal in a heartbeat, IF THERE WAS MORE TO DO!
Imagine if civilians could BE CIVILIANS and not criminals. You could do civilian jobs, and we’ve been talking about this for ages, and I god hope this is going to happen in V3 (if it ever releases, since it’s behind anyway…). Allow civilians to get houses that save, cars with trunks, small addons like that that will ultimately increase the roleplay in Firestone.
72 hour jail times, as well as the game being more geared towards cops is the reason why criminals dont play. Most criminals prefer mayflower instead of firestone because its simply more fair btwn cops and criminals.
Yes you can, I was a tester when this feature was added.
Did you actually report that to the Game Moderators?
Kinda impossible to break out ngl. First, you need to get 4-5 Doc online. If 5 DoC get on they will have common sense to know “If we let someone cook they’ll get a spoon probably so be in the lookout”. They do let inmate cook but they check the inmate before returning them to a cell. So if you have a spoon rip.
Even if u get a spoon and a key you still have 99% of failing because you are allowed to be killed on sight. Don’t forget doc has best gun in the game. They can kill you easily.
Also, schools open some peeps don’t wanna spent time in jail. (Not saying remove the jail time). They’ll be back during winter break or spring or after December.
100% agreed, after many jail hours I learned my lesson that “I’m not smart enough to do more creative crimes” so I gave up and got my record expunged.
back from the dead to tell you that I told you so
People kept insisting while I was around that crime needed to be stopped. The cancer cell that originally was the 72 hour sentence law has become an epidemic.
That said, most of this is the fault of the founders. How many times have I seen nerfs to criminal activities? There aren’t many features there either. The state’s awful leadership continues to damage it more and more.
Noticed how I’m the only criminal to read this. #othercriminalsgone
liar.
So, from all of your comments, I have compiled a list of all the issues facing criminals:
- State Leadership (Founder Choices)
- Long and harsh sentences (Also don’t have some type of breaking out of jail feature which is balanced)
- FRPing and Abusive LEOs
- Not a lot to do as a criminal
- Biased supervisors
- Expensive to buy a firearm
- Lack of criminal updates (Something Envelope and Path have tried to fix)
- Toxicity
And some solutions:
- Better Founder Intervention
- Expand roleplay
- Add more things for criminals to do.
Am I missing anything?
This is a very important issue. And it needs to be solved.
There should be a Firestone group called “The Firestone Mafia” . This group would be controlled by Fedora but would allow for mafia members to get certain access to fake police cars, high speed cars (faster then cop cars), inexpensive / free guns and ammunition, and a secret base. Just an idea for @anon54114525 or @FedoraMasterB98 . If this was done then there would be a better balance between cops and criminals.
for the record, we just reduced sentence maxes
Agreed it should always be balanced, maybe make it easier to buy guns for criminals because I obviously understand how long it takes for this to happen, but definitely not a thing the government should be able to try and fix. The founders and developers should be doing this not us ranting, just give them suggestions and pray they’ll do it for the crims.
Issue for me is, I don’t really want the gun price to drop so much. I did crimes in Firestone because it was a bit hard and challenging to get guns so only a few criminals could get guns. In Mayflower guns are cheap so you have 100s of criminals going around doing shooting left and right and north and south
