PREAMBLE
Discourse, the provider for Firestone Forums, recently pushed out an update giving moderators the power to “lock threads,” which no longer allow the owner to edit the thread. Since google docs can still be deleted by the original owner, this legislation is put into place to prevent loss of legislations. In an event that the platform goes down, all data will be backed up and restored promptly upon restoration of the platform. No legislation will have been deleted unless deemed by law.
SECTION 1
“A Joint Resolution to Repeal and Replace the all Joint Resolution for Safe Legislation” shall be declared null and void.
SECTION 2
“Firestone Forums” shall be defined as the official platform for forums within the State of Firestone, as approved by the Founder. The Firestone Forums shall also be defined as: https://forums.stateoffirestone.com/ .
SECTION 3
All future legislations, resolutions, and other important documents regarding the State Legislature shall be posted on the appropriate category within the Firestone Forums. Prior to being presented, the thread must be locked by administrator to prevent further edits to the thread. Should there be a need to edit the thread, the original author must contact an administrator providing valid evidence for the change of the document. Proof of the document being locked shall be shown through the lock symbol at the top right of the post, near the post date or time.
SECTION 4
All previous legislations, resolutions, and other important documents regarding the State Legislature on the Firestone Forums shall be locked as soon as possible by the moderators and administrators of the platform.
SECTION 5
All previous legislations, resolutions, and other important documents regarding the State Legislature not present on the Firestone Forums shall be posted on the platform and locked immediately after. This only applies to active documents.
SECTION 6
All resolutions in conflict with this legislation are declared null and void.
SECTION 7
Upon passage of the Congress, this legislation shall go into effect immediately.
