A Constitutional Amendment to Prohibit Double Jeopardy (R)


STATE OF FIRESTONE

JUNE 14th, 2023



SECTION I: SEVERABILITY; EFFECTIVENESS

    (a) If any part of this amendment is struck down by the Firestone Supreme Court this amendment shall be null and void.

    (b) This amendment shall be deemed effective once all conditions outlined by the constitution necessary for its passage are fulfilled properly.

SECTION II: AFFIRMATION

    (a) Article III, Section VII, subsection VII of the Firestone Constitution shall be established and shall state:
“No person shall be tried for the same offense twice. Nor shall any person suffer civil liability for the same civil wrong twice.”
