A Constitutional Amendment to nullify warrant expiration
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Firestone in Congress assembled,
SECTION I: TITLE
(a) This bill shall be known, and may be cited as “A CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT TO NULLIFY WARRANT EXPIRATION”
SECTION II: DEFINITIONS
(a) The Firestone Constitution shall be defined here.
SECTION III: AMENDMENT
(a) Article III, Section IV, Subsection I of the Firestone Constitution currently states: “Any judge or justice shall maintain the authority to issue warrants for arrest or seizure. No warrant shall be issued but upon the specific burden of proof thereof, supported by oath or affirmation. All evidence, witnesses, or facts used to ascertain the issuance of a warrant must be listed within, and all warrants shall be public information. No warrant shall be active for more than thirty calendar days. Upon expiration, the warrant cannot be issued again.”
(a1) Article III, Section IV, Subsection I of the Firestone Constitution shall be amended to state: “ Any judge or justice shall maintain the authority to issue warrants for arrest or seizure. No warrant shall be issued but upon the specific burden of proof thereof, supported by oath or affirmation. All evidence, witnesses, or facts used to ascertain the issuance of a warrant must be listed within, and all warrants shall be public information. No warrant shall be active for more than thirty calendar days. Upon expiration, the A warrant cannot be issued more than once for the same instance."
(b) Article III, Section IV, Subsection VII of the Firestone Constitution currently states: “All warrants shall include: the seal of the judiciary, the type of warrant, the name of the person(s) or property(ies) to be effected (and if a person or an individual’s property, the link to their Roblox profile; if the property is owned by an organization that is a Roblox group, the link to that group), the issuing authority, the affiant, the reasoning for issuance, a statement of facts and evidence presented by the affiant, the date and time of expiration, and the signature of the issuing authority.”
(b1) Article III, Section IV, Subsection VII of the Firestone Constitution shall be amended to state: “All warrants shall include: the seal of the judiciary, the type of warrant, the name of the person(s) or property(ies) to be effected (and if a person or an individual’s property, the link to their Roblox profile; if the property is owned by an organization that is a Roblox group, the link to that group), the issuing authority, the affiant, the reasoning for issuance, a statement of facts and evidence presented by the affiant, the date and time of expiration, and the signature of the issuing authority.”
SECTION IV: SEVERABILITY AND ENACTMENT
(a) Should any part of this bill be struck down and/or declared unenforceable, then that part shall be severed with the rest remaining in full force and effect unless all is struck down and/or declared unenforceable.
(b) This bill shall be entered into effect as an Act of Congress immediately after completing the constitutionally required process.
