6. Preamble

7. WHEREAS, to establish the new Redwood Twitter account as an official government asset

• Be it enacted by the City of Redwood City Council that:

• Section 1

8. The Redwood City Charter (“the City Charter”) shall be defined through its Trello card.

• Section 1A

9. 1. Article 7, Section 7 of the City Charter currently states “The Twitter account of the City of Redwood shall be regarded as an official government asset of the City of Redwood. The Twitter account of the City of Redwood shall be defined as the account with the Twitter handle: “@cityof_redwood”. Intentionally destructing, unauthorizedly altering, or otherwise damaging this government asset shall be considered illegal and shall be a prosecutable offense.”

10. Article 7, Section 7 of the City Charter shall now state “The Twitter account of the City of Redwood shall be regarded as an official government asset of the City of Redwood. The Twitter account of the City of Redwood shall be defined as the account with the Twitter handle: “@Redwood46817210”. Intentionally destructing, unauthorizedly altering, or otherwise damaging this government asset shall be considered illegal and shall be a prosecutable offense.”

13. This legislation shall go into effect immediately upon passing the legal processes as described by the City Charter.
