A BILL
to Recognize Police Reports

BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:


Section 1: Law Enforcement Agencies shall be permitted to file Police Reports and shall be recognized in Court as a form of Evidence.

Section 2: Law Enforcement Officers have the power to file Police Reports in regard to incidents that occur while on patrol.

Section 2A: Police Reports shall be required to include the following to be deemed recognizable in Firestone Courts;
-Officer Name
-Date and Time of Report
-Date and Time of Incident
-Narrative of Incident
-Officers and Witnesses of Incident
-Location of Incident

Section 2C: In order for a Report to be deemed recognizable in a court of law it must be published as a PDF and uploaded to google docs with a link.

Section 3: Law Enforcement Agencies have the authority to require reports if deemed necessary.

Section 3A: Any and all Police Reports must be completed within thirty-six(36) hours of the incident. The officer reporting the incident must be POST Certified.

Section 4: This legislation shall be overseen and enforced by State of Firestone Government.

Section 5: This legislation shall go into effect immediately upon its passage.

Section 6: All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
