A Bill to Re-Establish Election Regulations

PREAMBLE:

This bill has been created in order to compensate for the removal of ROBLOX Forums.

SECTION 1: All candidates within the State of Firestone running for a position that is held by an elections are to follow all the elections regulation that are listed in this bill. Any other regulations imposed by the election sponsors must also be obeyed, unless otherwise specified by the election sponsor.

SECTION 1A: Positions that are filled by elections include but are not limited to: Senate, House of Representatives, Mayor, Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Speaker of the House, etc.

SECTION 1B: Election sponsors are those who host elections for a spot that is needed to be filled. Those members include but are not limited to: Founder, Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Speaker of the House, etc.

SECTION 2: The following regulations will apply to all candidates that are running for a specific position within the State of Firestone.

SECTION 2A: A person may not post a campaign post on the State of Firestone wall more than once per page. If the violator is not the candidate, the wall posts will be simply deleted. If the violator is the candidate, the wall posts will be deleted and the candidate will be disqualified from the elections. SECTION 2B: A candidate may not advertise their campaign in groups outside of the State of Firestone. Examples of advertising about a campaign out of the State of Firestone include but are not limited to: shouting a support thread on another non-Firestone related group, posting a support thread on another non-Firestone related group, etc. This excludes groups solely dedicated to a campaign, otherwise known as a Campaign Group, and the “Firestone State Legislature” group. All Firestone related groups are any departments, and counties, that are allied with the State of Firestone: State of Firestone - Roblox

SECTION 2C: A candidate may not bribe another person to support for them. Examples of bribery include but are not limited to: Offering money in return for support, offering positions in return for support, etc.

SECTION 2D: A candidate may not slander another candidate for the same election. Slander is to be regarded as false and intentional allegations purposely made against another, including false statements (not assumptions). Accidental and unintentional allegations are not slander and are to be disregarded. Opinions, being freedom of speech, are not in any way an allegation and thus shall not be regarded as slander.

SECTION 2E: A person may not delete and re-post a wall support. This usually clogs up the audit logs and tend to make the wall more annoying. If a violator is not the candidate, further wall posts will be deleted. If a violator is the candidate, the violator’s post will be deleted and disqualified from the elections.

SECTION 2F: Tourists can not be promoted during election period. This is to prevent alternative accounts as well as external political takeovers.

SECTION 2G: Accounts under the age of 60 days olds support and vote will not be counted. This is to prevent alternative accounts from voting. If an account is 60 days old and not an alternative account, they shall private message the election sponsor for further examination and clearance.

SECTION 2H: No candidate support post or forum shall be shouted on any groups on ROBLOX. This excludes groups solely dedicated to a campaign, otherwise known as a Campaign Group.

SECTION 2I: Posting a support forum on another candidate’s forum or the election forum will be prohibited. In a case that this happens, the election sponsor shall ask the victim candidate to re-post their support forum with the link to their previous thread. If the violator is a candidate, the violator will be disqualified from the elections.

SECTION 2J: During a time of elections, citizens running may reach out via ROBLOX’s messaging system to OFFICIAL citizens of the State of Firestone (Middle Class Citizen+) for their support in their campaign. If a citizen campaigning sends messages to non-official citizens of the State of Firestone (Tourists) he/she will be disqualified. Campaigning via ROBLOX’s messaging system in groups other than the State of Firestone will also result in disqualification.

SECTION 3: The Founder, Office of the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and any election sponsor shall oversee the implementation of this legislation.

SECTION 3A: Any amendments to this legislation shall require supermajority (â…”) vote from both chambers.

SECTION 4: All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.

SECTION 4A: “A Bill to Define Election Regulations” shall hereby be declared null and void.

SECTION 4B: “A Bill to Amend Election Regulations” shall hereby be declared null and void.

SECTION 4C: “Election Regulations Amendment” shall hereby be declared null and void.

SECTION 4D: “Election Regulations Amendment, II” shall hereby be declared null and void.
