A Bill to Protect the Protesters
BE IT ENACTED BY THE STATE OF FIRESTONE CONGRESS* HERE ASSEMBLED THAT:
SECTION 1: This bill shall protect the protesters.
SECTION 2: Protesters shall not be arrested for a peaceful protest.
SECTION 2A: Protesters shall be arrested for any felony or misdemeanor whilst protesting but can not and will not be arrested for simply protesting.
SECTION 2B: Peace Officers Shall not disturb a peaceful protest unless laws are being broken and or preventing a Peace Officer from doing his/her job.
SECTION 2C: Peaceful Protest shall be defined as: Protest being held peacefully with nonviolent action and providing no danger to anyone including civilians and those participating in the protest.
SECTION 3: The State of Firestone Government shall oversee this legislation, while the Firestone State Patrol, National Guard, Homeland Security, Department of Corrections, and specific State of Firestone county Sheriff’s Offices shall enforce it.
SECTION 4: This legislation shall go into effective immediately after passage.
SECTION 5: All laws in conflict with this legislation are hereby declared null and void.
